After their first 2 marvellous albums, I lost interest in COLDPLAY as they became
too sugary, too mellow for my liking. But when seeing this FIX YOU performance
at Glastonbury Festival (UK) last June, with actor Michael J. Fox, who suffers from
Parkinson playing guitar in his wheelchair, I got goosebumps everywhere.

NPR Music is a project of National Public Radio, an American privately and
publicly funded non-profit membership media organization, that was launched
in November 2007 to present public radio music programming and original
editorial content for music discovery.
In 2008 the network started Tiny Desk Concerts which grow slowly but surely
into wide-known-watched, mini events where countless alt artists/bands have
passed the revue.
Post-punk weirdos – for 41 years now – DEVO did their thing in the by now familiar
(for music junkies) small place (4 songs) last week. They don’t like weird any more,
but still have fun, and perform with ardency and satisfaction.

NYC’s musical legend WILLY DEVILLE, mastermind of fabulous band
Mink Deville (1974-1986), passed away 15 years ago today, on 6 August
2009, aged only 58. He died of pancreatic cancer discovered in the course
of a Hepatitis C treatment
His greatest hit is, without a shadow of a doubt, timeless classic SPANISH STROLL.

released her most recent album Love Sux in 2022.
Last June she appeared at Glastonbury Festival in the UK.
One of the highlights came up with her mega 2002 hit SK8ER BOI.
Cool Lavigne and the huge crowd went bonker.

in 2021 they’ve been on an endless tour around the globe. And

sign whatsoever of new music coming up.
But Murphy still plays live, now and then.
This summer at festivals and this Fall in
America.
