To celebrate SUPERGRASS‘ return let’s go back to 1997, to their excellent second album, their bestseller IN IT FOR THE MONEY released on 21 April 1997. The LP reached at No. 2 in the UK, selling 300,000 copies and over one million (!) worldwide. Surprised frontman Gaz Coombes commented: “The fact that it has sold more worldwide than ‘I Should Coco’ means we can sleep at night.

AllMusic wrote: “On its second album, the cleverly titled In It for the Money, Supergrass brought the songs to the forefront, slowing the tempos considerably and constructing a
