Imperishable Californian punks THE OFFSPRING
are kicking ass for 40 years now, and no signs of
retirement. On the contrary.
As communicated a couple of weeks ago, their 11th LP,
baptized Supercharged will see the day of light on
October 11th.
Following explosive lead single Make It All Right the band go
in overdrive on new head-over-heels steamroller LIGHT IT UP.
Dexter Holland (frontman): “This song is a full speed ahead juggernaut. This character in the song is fed up, he’s had enough, and he’s gonna light it up. He’s ready for a fight. And I definitely sense a lot of that around me. Growing up, some of my favorite songs were by punk bands that were just like, “I’m sick of your shit.” And that was ok! It wasn’t like a negative thing to have those feelings and express that.”

They just announced the upcoming birth of their
11th album, named SUPERCHARGED. It’ll be out
on October 11th.
Dexter Holland (frontman): “We wanted this record to have pure energy — from the start
to the finish! That’s why we called it SUPERCHARGED. From the height of our aspirations to the depths of our struggles, we talk about it all on this record… in a way that celebrates the life that we share and where we are now.
Our single ‘Make It All Right’ is a great example of this because it talks about the people in our lives who make us feel strong when we are feeling low – our partners in crime who make us feel all right.I feel like this is the best we have ever sounded!” enthused Holland. “We’ve been rocking out and headbanging to it for months! And we can’t wait for you guys to hear it!”
