TUTV: My ears were immediately overpowered by the echoes of the infamous punk gunslingers Sex Pistols‘ rhythm section (Paul Cook/Glenn Matlock) and riff-manic guitarist Steve Jones, producing a thunderous cadence that pumps up your bloodstream at once.

And talking about the Pistols, The Get Arounds have a much more attractive singer than Johnny bloody Rotten, with roaring rock chick Lana Ryma who has her own lusty way of getting in your face. Black And White rattles, rumbles and rolls and invites you to oil your vocal cords and join Ryma on the cutting chorus. Five words: The Get Arounds kick ass.

They produce riff-rousing rock ‘n’ roll to get you going through the day, the night and
in between. Their motto is “Don’t bore us get to the chorus”. That’s what happens on
I Want Something More too with it’s sickly sticky refrain, its steady solid rhythm section,
its textbook guitar fireworks and its vivid vocals by rock chick Lana Ryma. The track is
