‘THIS IS YESTERDAY’ By MANIC STREET PREACHERS – Glastonbury 2003…

Amazing live moments…

Watch MANIC STREET PREACHERS play ‘THIS IS YESTERDAY‘ at Glastonbury Festival
in 2003. It’s still one of my all-time favourite Manics beauties. It has that characteristic, warm melancholic and wistfully romantic feel we all know from the Welsh legends’ other touching ballads. The song, with lyrics written by the late Richey Edwards, appeared on their gloomy milestone album ‘The Holy Bible’, their last LP before Richey went missing on 1 February 1995.

And I stare at the sky
And it leaves me blind
I close my eyes
And this is yesterday
