Who: Hefty garage rock quartet from Newport, South Wales

Sam Wagenaar (frontman): “I try to find inspiration in anything, which is something that has materialised over the years of playing music. I find inspiration in a lot of aspects of life, but a lot of the best songs come from moments, people, times and those kind of things which have an emotional attachment to your heart. They can be good or bad things, that’s the beauty of writing music.”

New single: THE NEVER-ENDING

TUTV: Nirvana and Pearl Jam are definitely idols of these turbulent Welsh rockers.
But Finding Aurora infuse their way of grunge-ing with a straightforward head-over-heels punk velocity that leaves you out of breath in the end. The Never-Ending is a maddening mammoth of a haymaker. Layers of knife-sharp riffage, insane octopus drumming, and jittery vocals. Around the 2.30-minute mark they decelerate a bit only to explode like an erupting volcano. Wowzers.
