It’s the first one with new bassist Emma Richardson.

Clash Magazine said:“It isn’t an album for the uninspired or your average Joe.
It’s a bible for the daydreaming visionary who finds beauty in the mundane.”

The band will promote the LP next year in UK/Europe. US dates TBA.

PIXIES Are Looking For Their Mind In EUROPE

8 August 2024

PIXIES are going quiet/Loud/quiet for almost 40 years now.
And they’re still very alive, very kicking and productive.

They canned their 9th longplayer.
It’s titled The Night The Zombies Came and
will land on our speakers on October 25.

You can stream the (so far) 2 shared tracks.

.
And Black Francis and co are still looking for their mind, once more in Europe again.

They played at Lokerse Feesten in Belgium last Monday.
TUTV was there to help them in their search for the umpteenth
time.

Damn, where is that fucking mind?

Last month PIXIES dropped new track You’re So Impatient.
A familiar pixie rocker. It introduced new bassist (yep, another
one) Emma Richardson.

The almost 40-year old band now communicated details of a new LP.
It’s titled The Night The Zombies Came. It’ll land on planet Earth on
October 25.

Along with the news comes a 2nd new track.

CHICKEN is a rare slow one. Compelling,
captivating and compassionate.

Far-out!
