Messy rockers ROYAL TRUX – Jennifer Herrema and Neil Hagerty – confirmed their brand new album, entitled WHITE STUFF some weeks ago when they dropped the vicious title track. Today they launched another nasty jam. Tomorrow, 5th February, it’s Chinese New Year meaning today is the last day of THE YEAR OF THE DOG. Royal Trux celebrates this day with their homonymous, freshly shared rock ‘n’ roll molotov cocktail. A boiling slam with wicked hooks, pumping percussion and a sneering chorus. Charged stuff, glutinous
as first-class glue. I wonder if the fierce duo also wrote a song about The Year Of The Pig , China’s 2019 animal.
