TOM VERLAINE (real name: Thomas Miller)
was born in Morristown, New Jersey, on
13 December 1949.

Happy 74 to the guitarist/singer/songwriter of the
legendary New York City based band TELEVISION.

Their 1977 debut album Marquee Moon is regarded as the LP that changed alternative guitar rock music. Television split after two albums but reunited in 1992 for their third and final LP. Verlaine had also a productive solo career with 10 albums between 1979 and 2006 and collaborated with countless artists.

Verlaine passed away this year on 28 January following
a long battle with prostate cancer. He was 73. R.I.P.
