INTERPOL Celebrate 20th Anniversary Of Their 2nd LP ‘ANTICS’ in Europe/UK/USA

New York‘s rock darlings INTERPOL released their second
album ANTICS on 27 September 2004, 20 years ago.

A deluxe anniversary is out now. Different formats of Vinyl/CD/Digital with all
sort of specials, a 30-page booklet and some other collector items. Details here.

Frontman Paul Banks spoke with English music website NME about the making of Antics: “It was a fairly organic and not-contrived evolution of where we were with our songwriting. I’d like to say that we were pushing back on these labels of being super dour in the first round, but I’m not sure how much that would have actually had an impact on the material that we then wrote for ‘Antics’. We had a lot of ‘Antics’ written by the end of the ‘Bright Lights’ tour, so it was almost like a continuation.”

PIXIES are going quiet/Loud/quiet for almost 40 years now.
And they’re still very alive, very kicking and productive.

They canned their 9th longplayer.
It’s titled The Night The Zombies Came and
will land on our speakers on October 25.

They played at Lokerse Feesten in Belgium last Monday.

BOB DYLAN – The Never Ending Tour Continues In The UK/Europe This Fall

Unwearying 83-year-old songsmith legend BOB DYLAN is one of
those artists (Willie Nelson, The Stones, John Forgety, Bruce Springsteen,
Paul McCartney, and many, many more) that will perform until their
last breath.

He started his never-ending tour somewhere
in the 80s and never stopped since.

He just announced another UK/Europe tour for this Fall, still billed as
the Rough And Rowdy Ways (his last album that came out in 2020).

GARBAGE Return To The Stage After 5 Years

It’s been 5 years since GARBAGE, featuring Nirvana producer
Buch Vig on drums and the wonderful Shirley Manson upfront,
played live.

UK/Europe fans will be happy to see them back in action.

Last April the band reissued their 2005 album Bleed Like Me ,
on 2 CD’s, including unreleased B-sides, remixes, and demos.
