One Man Band MILES KANE Keeps On Rockin In The Free World – UK & Europe 2024

British rocker MILES KANE and Arctic Monkeys’s Alex Turner sidekick
in The Last Shadow Puppets released his 5th LP ONE MAN BAND
last summer.

An effervescent collection of riff-loaded, catchy power pop tunes.
Nothing more, nothing less, but oh so excitingly entertaining. It
features one of the best 2023 singles (in my book) with BAGGIO,
an ode to the former Italian football star Robert Baggio.

After a series of triumphant gigs in the past months,
Kane announced new dates in UK/ Europe for 2024.

The Aussie psych-prog-rockers have their 25th LP
in 13 years out, titled THE SILVER CORD.

It’s their second of the year, following, take a deep breath: PetroDragonic
Apocalypse Or, Dawn Of Eternal Night: An Annihilation Of Planet Earth
nd The Beginning Of Merciless Damnation.

They swapped their guitars for electronica. And it works. From prog rock psychedelia to prog synth-dream-pop. 7 great, trippy/vibey/dancey tunes (not one longer than 5 minutes except for the remixes LP where not one of the 7 tracks is shorter than 10 minutes. Think Tame Impala on a roll with layers of shiny synthesizers.

To promote the new record the hardest working band in the world will keep on
working hard in 2024 with a massive tour brining them to Europe, the UK, Canada
and the US. I wonder how many new LPs they will fabricate in between on the tour
bus.

BUDDY GUY was born George Guy 86 years ago in Lettsworth, Louisiana.

He was/is one of the Chicago Blues legends with a singular, sultry guitar
style . He recorded/released 19 solo LPs between 1967 and 2022 and many
collaborative longplayers, with Junior Wells, Phil Guy and Memphis Slim.

He just announced his farewell tour. Dates below.
