British pop legend TOYAH WILLCOX and her beloved partner and King Crimson
guitar wizard ROBERT FRIPP are still in the kitchen at parties, for almost 4 years
now. Their weekly Sunday Lunch Cover Sessions started back in April to kill time
in that awful Covid-19 lockdown year.

What they have done since is make us laugh to tears with their both hilarious and
utterly cool performances. They already covered tons of classic songs by classic artists/bands and there is no way of stopping them. Yes, it only takes two to tango.

Yesterday they slashed and trashed The Stooges classic Search And Destroy.

Watch Fripp‘s eyes rollin’ again from left to right and back
when seeing his colorful punk wife going berserk.

TOYAH AND ROBERT FRIPP Were HEROES At Stone Valley South Festival 2023

TOYAH and ROBERT FRIPP bring us fun, hilarity and music every Sunday
for more than two years now from their kitchen with covers of pop & rock
classics.

It’s not that they weren’t already famous before the Covid-19 lockdown started.
Toyah and Fripp have both remarkable careers on their résume and they’re definitely
not done yet, as Toyah proved crystal clear with her 2021 Posh Pop album and Robert
still touring with King Crimson, his band of a lifetime.

And regularly they leave their beloved kitchen to play live together, as happened last
May at the Stone Valley South Festival in Great Amwell, England where they played, as part
of their set, their vivid cover of David Bowie‘s 1977 mega-hit HEROES, on which Fripp
played guitar back then.

Toyah and Robert recently celebrated their 37th anniversary together,
cause they’re lovers, and that is a fact, yes they’re lovers, and that is that.

Heroes.

TOYAH And ROBERT Have A ‘RADAR LOVE’

On the seventh day – almost 3 years ago – TOYAH WILLCOX
and her beloved husband ROBERT FRIPP (King Crimson) started
their Sunday Lunch Sessions as a fun pastime while being locked
up in their kitchen due to that shit virus.

Three years later, they still have a party in their kitchen.

Last Sunday then went for a take on Radar Love (released in 1973),
the biggest hit (more than 135 million views on Spotify) of legendary
Dutch rock legends Golden Earring.

Here we go.

Just when you think that TOYAH & FRIPP can’t top their most hilarious
moments anymore, the fabulous YouTube stars come up with this new
Sunday Lunchperformance that made me burst out laughing.

This week the lovers picked Mr. Brightside, the ace debut
single by Los Angeles’ glam pop darlings THE KILLERS.

And they let British mega idol Chesney Hawkes do the signing
so they both could concentrate on moving in mysterious ways.
You bloody clowns!

COVER OF THE WEEK – Graceful TOYAH And Her Rhythm Slaves

TOYAH and ROBERT FRIPP do not need an introduction whatsoever anymore,
if you ask me (also if you don’t ask me). Both had/have notable successful careers
and both together have their Sunday lunch on YouTube, every week for more
than two years now.

About 2 months ago the lovebirds picked Grace Jones‘s giant 1985 hit
Slave to the Rhythm to entertain us with it on the laziest day of the week.

Recently T & R recorded their cover of that soulful pearl, fully orchestrated,
as a new Toyah single, and shared an accompanying video so you can join
sexy Toyah for a little dance to this sensuous interpretation with her seductive
posh pop voice as the star in the middle and the trippy guitars of King Robert
and Simon Darlow on the sides, left and right. They’re rhythm slaves to Toyah.
