Danish synth-pop dreamer and multi-instrumentalist Trentemøller is
around for a while, well a long while of 27 years, filled with multiple LPs.

His new album, baptized Dreamwaver is ready to be
shared with the world on September 13. More info here.

Following A Different Light we can enjoy a 2nd appetizer,
the title track, sung by his regular collaborator Disa Jakobs.

Trentemøller: I feel it’s got a hopeful element to it. It ponders love,
connections, and intimacy. It’s not a sad song, even if there’s always

Press statement: “A hooky bass line opens the track, ultimately taunting
whip-crack drums into entering an unabating duel. Oscillating echoes materialize,
like murmurs from the netherworld, eventually culminating into actual voices. Does
the song’s mantra, “you’re not dead or alive” refer to liminality, as we hurl towards
whatever is next, or call into question our somatic state entirely?”

Doom or hope. Despair or trust. Darkness of brightness.
