Canadian pop folk band THE WEATHER STATION led by the wonderful
Tamara Lindeman are gearing up to release their fifth album next year,
in February.
Arresting lead-single Robber (listen/watch below), bringing Kate Bush to mind
came our way last month and here’s piece number two.
TRIED TO TELL is an irresistibly upbeat humdinger getting your aural attention
from the very start. The ongoing catchy drum/bass beat has an instant effect,
making your feet tap in harmony and your head going up and down with an
I’m-feeling-good smile on your beaming face. A pop diamond accompanied by
an eye-catching video clip with Lindeman dressed in a sort of cool pieces-of-glass
outfit.
