who played in a couple of indie bands before starting her solo journey with

Crystal Voice ELIZABETH FRASER And Partner DAMON REECE Shared Second Piece From Their New Project

Former Scottish Cocteau Twins voice and face ELISABETH FRASER and her partner,
former Spiritualized and Echo and the Bunnymen drummer DAMON REECE started
now a musical partnership called SUN’S SIGNATURE.

Anytime soon they will release their 5-track eponymous debut EP via Partisan Records. Highly evolved, yet simultaneously primal the extended play is an original, compelling,
and genre-defying collection of songs that has developed through anAlice in Wonderland journey through life and music.

Ahead of it comes UNDERWATER.
It’s the second track the duo shares
from that EP.

Underwater is a breezy reverie. Minimalistic at first, then evolving slowly into
a poppy hymn-like humdinger. Luminous as crystal with starry-eyed synths
and Fraser‘s moony vocality bringing Kate Bush to mind. Just resplendent.

Who: Elisabeth Fraser, voice of Scottish legends Cocteau Twins and
her partner Damon Reece (drummer for Spiritualized, Massive Attack,
Lupine Howl and more)

New EP: SUN’S SIGNATURE
The project’s 5-track debut EP to be released on this year’s
Record Store Day on 23rd April. The songs have been around
for a while, live or on rare releases.

Partisan Records: “Highly evolved, yet simultaneously primal.
It’s an utterly original, compelling and genre-defying collection
of songs that has developed through an Alice in Wonderland
journey through life and music.”

One of the tracks is UNDERWATER. A dream song with the same name of a very limited pressed single (only 300 copies) that came out in 2000. But it’s unknown at this moment
if it’s really the same one.
