PLASTIC SUN Goes Electro On New Single – You Can Dance To ‘WAIT’ Here…

New sonic impulses

24 April 2020

Young British wolves PLASTIC SUN drop new, fourth single WAIT today which shows
the multifaceted songwriting talent of this thrilling trio going from catchy indie power
pop to darksome electro electricity.

Wait’ is a factitious song about death. Inspired by the film ‘Man On Wire’ that documents the high-wire walk of Philippe Petit between the Twin Towers of New York’s World Trade Centre,
the song explores an alternative narrative of a tightrope walker who failed to survive such a feat, falling to their death and leaving behind loved ones.

In these surreal times at home we all need body movements to keep our blood flow going. Wait is the ideal soundtrack to do the job. Its dreamy electronic and dark and deep bass loaded beats invite you to move your furniture, move in circling ways, and challenge the gloom and doom content of this poppy zinger. Maybe one day Plastic Sun should remix a Happy Mondays track.
