Their fans can start jumping for joy ’cause their idols are back with new single WHO’S THAT, a synth-glowing woolgathering evoking dreamy images. No sign
yet of a new LP, but I’m sure that won’t take long.

Band: HEARING TESTS Who: A hardcore band from London, sonically direct, taking influence from all
over the hardcore spectrum, fast pummelling riffs, huge sing along political lyrics,
tackling issues such as the rise of the far right, consumerism and inequality with
more personal stories.
Their sound is fast, raw, and unapologetically direct – built for sweaty basements and
shouted choruses. Lyrically, they pull no punches, taking aim at consumer culture, far-right
politics, and systemic inequality with a clarity and fury that leaves no room for ambiguity.
Politically charged and sonically relentless, Hearing Tests aren’t just playing punk – they’re
living it.
TUTV: Holy smoke! Hearing Tests tash, crash and smash all war-greedy psychos who
have turned our planet into a ravaging battlefield. Burn The Flag is an exploding punk grenade, a detonative ebullition, a barbed wire assault.
We all know that we’re doomed if all those immoral, intolerant, egomaniacal world leaders as we know them, stay in charge. Their erratic behaviour is unpredictably dangerous. We the people should stand up, all together, and get rid of all those evil politicians while screaming Burning the flag, Burn in hell at the top of our lungs.

AL JOURGENSEN, mastermind of legendary industrial metal tormentors MINISTRY,
just announced the final stand of the band after a tumultuous journey since 1981.
Jourgensen: “I’m fucking done. I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished. I’m amazed at the path that it’s taken, from With Sympathy to where we’re at today, and all points in between. It’s been quite a ride, but I’m completely at peace with the fact that it’s done. It’s time to herd goats.”
It’s pretty self-evident that Ministry has never been a big fan of ‘Hair Mussolini’, especially now as he bombards the American people on a near daily basis with self-aggrandising AI slop. Al Jourgensen and co. therefore felt it necessary to give ‘Trumplethinskin’ a dose of his own medicine with their new single.
5th single from their upcoming 4th longolayer,
called Happier Now will land on September 4th.
TUTV: Ardency is the key word here, sonically and vocally. The kind of decicated ardency Deftones built their career with. Live By The Sword‘s urgent zestfulness holds your focus for the full ride.

Artist: PIG Who: Longtime, English Dark-Goth-wave whirlwind and solo diesel engine Raymond Watts, who made 15 LPs with German cult band KMFDM and has
several solo ones out, with this year’s piping hot album Hurt People Hurt
as the most recent one.
Watts:“I wanted to distil and hone the sound of the current PIG album, ‘Hurt People Hurt’,
so inviting my old partners in swine Marc and Günter to join Jim and myself in the studio seemed the perfect blend of brutality and beauty to feed, fertilise and transmogrify the hog
into Hogzilla. This new single was the first result of our work as a quartet, hammered in the heat of the anvil of hurt.”
TUTV: Wake up, America, here comes PIG. This new blazing electro-burning outburst resonates like it’s performed by a dream team, legendary industrial hotrod aggressors Ministry fronted by Bauhaus‘ iconic maestro Peter Murphy. Sounds pretty awesome, right? You betcha.
The immense vim and vigour at play here is off the charts, with Raymond Watt‘s characteristic, bone-shilling and terrifying vocals grabbing you by the throat for
the full 4 and a half sledgehammering minutes. Ferocious, fulminating, fierce
eruption. PIG rules.
“This is an American ideal of beauty
Put up, shut up, do your duty.”
“The song is about the chaotic, toxic, and explosive dynamic between
two people who constantly fight and treat every argument like the end
of the world.”
TUTV: Vintage Fat Dog. Built up, explode, built up, explode.
If you’re having a Shit Life or not, go bonkers to this boosting
barker.

Band: RIFF WOOD Who: Three young mighty
wacking brats from Utah.
Track: RUN IT
The 6th (half of the album) taster from their forthcoming 2nd LP,
titled Butterfly In Black & White. It’ll land on September 18th.
“Run It is about letting go of hesitation and fully committing to whatever’s in front of you.
It’s that mindset of not overthinking, not holding yourself back, and just going for it with everything you’ve got.”
TUTV: These young dogs know all the old tricks to impress your agog
eardrums with an oodles of decibels and rollicking Black Sabbath riffs.
Pure rock ‘n’ roll granite.
This Herculian uppercut is what you need to kick-start your lazy body in the morning. Wake up, don’t run. Just listen, close, people, and bash your head into your bedroom
wall.
Porcelain: “This is a song about the loss of innocence. Growing up, the future looked
so bright and promising, like we could all make something of this world for the better.
But then we witness tragedy after tragedy unfold in front of our childlike eyes, and the
world that we looked forward to growing up in now looks like it’s unattainable, collapsing
in slow motion. ”
TUTV: This high-voltage drill hammer’s repetitive roasting
riff drives you insane in the end. No escape way. No exit.
This is, following Black Paint, a 2nd preview of his forthcoming 18th longplayer,
titled Chrome, out August 28th. Weirdly enough, he releases the same day an EP,
named Love Buzz.

to go out of his mind.
