Daily electricity to load your batteries

15 July 2025

Band: THE CHARLATANS
Who: Veteran rockers from Birmingham, West Midlands,
fronted by Tim Burgess who became the lead singer in
1989.

Track: WE ARE LOVE
The first single and title track of their upcoming
14th album, the first in 8 years, which comes our
way on Halloween.

New album artwork

Burgess: “The whole idea of hauntology and psychogeography is represented by
us going back to Rockfield, where so much history has happened for the Charlatans.

That was important as a way of honoring every member who’s played in the band.
So we’re honouring ourselves, our past, feeling that energy and reincarnating it,
doing something fresh, brand new.”

Jangly guitars, jaunty flow and jiggish chorus.
All you need is love.
