Wolfgang Vanwymeersch also called WOLF here and there, is the driving
sound-exploring force behind Belgian post-punk noiseniks Elefant and
he was the flamboyant guitarist of former power-pop rockers The Van Jets.

During these once-in-a-lifetime pandemic times, he went into quarantine in his
caravan and let the muse do its work. He dived into the sonic space somewhere
between Elefant and The Van Jets, where daydreamers such as Matt Berninger
from The National and troubadour Devendra Banhart wander around too, for
his first affecting solo effort.

The result is moody beauty NOT TO. Melancholia at its starry-eyed synth-pop best.
I know Wolf for a long time, but I don’t know him. Yet I have the strong feeling he’s
a romantic at heart who’s sanely obsessed with creating music, playing music, and enjoying music, if possible all at the same time.

Dim the lights, sit down, lean back and let Not To into your soul…

One Live Track A Day Keeps The Doctor Away – Here’s One Of The Best Pop Songs Of The 21st Century – ‘BROS’ By WOLF ALICE

British guitar pop force WOLF ALICE, led by the gorgeous frontwoman ELLIE ROWSELL shot themselves to the stars with two magnificent albums, their debut Love Is Cool (2016) and Visions Of A Life (2017).

My favourite Wolf Alice track by far is the outstanding single BROS, from the band’s debut LP. Why? Because it’s without a shadow of a doubt one of the best pop songs of the 21st Century. Yes, that bloody good!

Here’s a striking live version – Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 2014

I just can’t get enough – at Glastonbury – 2014

Exciting Toronto singer/songwriter DYLYN just released brand new, flashing single WOLF.

“This song was the aftermath of a shitty breakup and my family divide. It was as if the universe was telling me to rebel and revert to autopilot. Shutting my feelings off for a little while was a much easier way to live – misery loves a hot guy. Along with my other recent releases, my songs are all authentically me. Writing them was like a therapy session dedicated to the last three years of my life. I wanted to incorporate 80s synth, punk garage style drums to match my deep vocals – mixing the old with the new. It helped pinpoint exactly how I was feeling” explains Dylyn. Her debut EP ‘Sauvignon and a Kimono’ will be out on 23 February.

Time for the electro storm. Here’s WOLF. A heavy synths pop explosion with a big sound,
a big voice and an overall glowing feel. Open your windows and doors, wake up the whole neighborhood and start a vibrant party in your street. It helps to keep the demons away…
