JAKE BUGG Rocks Out Again On New Single ‘KEEP ON MOVING’

Daily noise that works faster than a stream of caffeine

19 August 2024

Album artwork

British-Nottingham-born singer-songwriter JAKE BUGG who celebrated his 30th birthday last February, but still looks like he’s 20, revealed, last May, the upcoming release of his
6th album. It’s titled A Modern Day Distraction and will see the day of light on 20th September.

Press info: “It’s a record that turns up the noise while shining a light on the injustice he’s seen dealt to the family and friends he grew up with. Fiery and engaged, the record was born out of a frustration of societal inequality. Bugg found that a time had come when he just couldn’t look away.”

On the first two tasters, Zombieland and All Kinds Of People, Bugg turned up the decibels and he does the very same thing on new track number 3, named KEEP ON MOVING.

Wake up people,
Jake is rollin’.

Bugg: “People might say ‘What do you know?’ or ‘Just stick to music’. I’ve got a bit of money,
but we all know the people this affects. I was just writing it because it was the way I felt. It pisses me off – especially in a country like ours where we have the means and funds to take care of the people suffering the most, but we choose not to. It’s fucking brutal. [People live in] a constant cycle of working to live. They’re not paid what they’re worth. People have the same routine every day, they’re at work more than they see their kids, then the government puts the retirement age up. It’s not right.”

Bugg turned up the fieriness on first single Zombieland and he
does it again on the 2nd new corker, titled ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE.
