‘YOU COULD HAVE IT SO MUCH BETTER’ By FRANZ FERDINAND Released 15 Years Ago…

29 September 2020

Band: Franz Ferdinand (Scotland)
Album: You Could Have It So Much Better – 2nd LP
Released: 28 September 2020

NME review: “Stacks of sex, drugs and dirty rock’n’roll – the bonnie lads shake off their
squeaky clean image for their second stonker. The biggest departures from the first album (they’re all ballads of one stripe or another), they’re sufficiently anthemic to capture Killers
fans’ hearts but with enough unexpected twists and turns to satisfy the art-rock hardcore.”

Artwork: The album’s cover art is inspired by the works of Alexander Rodchenko,
the Russian avant-garde photographer and collage pioneer. The cover image is a
direct copy of Rodchenko‘s 1924 portrait of Russian author Lilya Brick (see below).
