It’s already 17 years – 21 October 2003 – since emotive singer/songwriter ELLIOTT SMITH took his own life. He was only 34. He was born in Ohama, Nebraska in 1969, but spend most of his life in Portland, Oregon.

After playing in a few bands he went his own way. He made 5 albums between 1994 and 2000. Now playing on my stereo is his final LP Figure 8. A varied, melancholic beauty…
