KIM ALTHEA GORDON was born 68 years ago in Rochester, New York.

Widely know for being a prominent member, along with her ex-husband
Thurston Moore of prodigious noise-addicts Sonic Youth (1981–2011 / 15 LPs).

After the band’s split the blonde heroine played with several short-lived groups
(Free Kitten, Body/Head, Glitterbust) before canning her first ace solo album No Home Record three years ago. It was Turn Up The Volume‘s numero uno longplayer of 2019.
