HARRIET WHEELER was born on 26 June 1963 in Reading, UK.

Happy 60 to the wonderful, angelic vocalist/songwriter of British
dream pop stars The Sundays. The band started its journey in 1988.

They fabricated three highly acclaimed LPs: Reading, Writing and
Arithmetic (1990), Blind (1992) and Static & Silence (1997).

Wheeler and guitarist David Gavurin were a couple and it was Wheeler who wanted
to settle down after the release of the 3rd full-length. They had a daughter together
and had a home-studio built. In 2014 rumours were going around of a possible return
but it was just rumours. Although the pair create some new music a good friend of
theirs said that “they’re the most paranoid people about actually putting stuff out there.”
