British seasoned rockers KASABIAN – one of the best bands of the past 25 years
to my ears and eyes have their 8th LP, titled HAPPENINGS out on 5th July. It’s their second one since former frontman Tom Meighan was fired.

They just premiered the 4th taster, called DARKEST LULLABY.

Serge Pizzorno (bandleader): “It’s based on a long-lost film from the 1970s.
The music video is the trailer for this fictional film that was never made. It was
shot and made by a rag tag bunch of artists having the time of their lives.”

Since former frontman Tom Meighan left the group, their rockin’ days
are over. On previous LPs it was already clear that singer/songwriter
Pizzorno moved towards becoming a spry, dance-orientated band.
It works marvelously live (as I experienced last summer) but on
record the songs haven’t the same high-energetic vitality.
