Back in 1988 dark fantasy and horror comedy film
Beetlejuice directed by Tim Burton hit the cinemas.
The movie opened theatrically in the United States on 30 March 1988, earning
$8,030,897 on its opening weekend, which at the time, was an Easter weekend
record. The film eventually grossed $75.1 million worldwide. It was a financial
success, recouping its $15 million budget and becoming the 10th-highest-grossing
film of 1988.
Now after 36 years the Deetz family is back and their still haunted by Beetlejuice.
Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O’Hara who played in the first one
are the stars again in the sequel.
