Welsh notorious noizz turbine MCLUSKY, fronted by Andrew Falkous,
put themselves on the indie map of decibels-producing bands between
1993 and 2004 with 3 earsplitting albums.

They broke up a year later and Falkous formed another resounding group,
named Future Of The Left, including his wife on bass. They fabricated
5 full CDs and then went AWOL.

In 2015 Mclusky suddenly returned for a benefit gig in London and played some more here and there. In 2023, they released a new 4-track EP, called Unpopular parts of a pig / The digger you deep to fund a delayed US tour.

The comeback is now for real as Falkous & Co announced the completion of their
4th LP. It’s baptized The World Is Still Here And So Are We . It comes our way on
May 9th.

Along with the news comes new slam dunk, named WAY OF THE EXPLODING DICKHEAD. A familiar sounding jagged jackhammer with bass/guitar/drums and Falkous‘ angry vocals each want to get all the attention.

Falkous about the accompanying video “With a title modeled on/ripped off a formative
video game (The Way Of The Exploding Fist on the ZX Spectrum), and lyrics inspired by
the huge excitement caused by the surge pricing on tickets to see a band play well in the
distance, ‘way of the exploding dickhead’ is a modern parable, without the parable bit.”
