The legendary country-blues-honky tonk pioneer HANK WILLIAMS (1923-1953,
only 29) is regarded as one of the most memorable singer-songwriters of the
20th Century who influenced countless other musicians, then and now.
Williams recorded 55 singles that reached the top 10 of the Billboard Country & Western
Best Sellers Chart, 5 of which were released posthumously, and 12 of which reached No.1.
One of his biggest hits was a song called COLD, COLD HEART
which he released today 75 years ago, on 2 February 1951.
