Shirley Manson was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on 26 August 1966.

Happy 60 to the NME Godlike genius, the awesome Garbage voice
and co-songwriter with utterly inspiring, caring views on society and
intolerant, inclusive politics.

Last June I saw Garbage for the upteenth time. Another fantastic show.
Something special happened just before playing the encores. Shirley got
from the stage to have a selfie with a teenage fan she spotted in front of
the stage. Never seen a star doing such a touching gesture.
