About the song: “A lot of our songs sound like they’re about shagging, but aren’t, except this one sort of is. Bed Bug is about mites. How would a bed bug feel about getting obsessed with the person in the bed? We wrote it in a tent backstage at a festival in Orléans, France.

Even then we knew we wanted it to sound big. We’d spent nine months of 2025 not coming up with any new songs we were happy with, but this one thankfully broke our streak, and came to define the outlook of the new record”.

TUTV: Hair-raising riffage, a pressurising rhythm section, and fuzzy vocals cause a pulverising effect on this garage punk roundhouse, while the hypnotic chorus petrifies. This is not a new Ty Segall left-right sucker-punch, but it certainly matches his bewildering, psychedelic impact. These Welsh indie gunslingers shoot from the hip.

combining driving guitar riffs, infectious hooks, and an explosive
live presence.

“The song is about trying to escape from a chaotic relationship after it ends. The frenetic and brash nature of the tune comes from the frenetic nature of the relationship and of the brash and chaotic attitude of the title character.  We wanted the music and lyrics to come together and create a mood for the song that matches the subject.

TUTV: Riff-roasting guitar indie rock at its cutting best. The Light Show don’t waste time, they dive into this sassy steamroller from the get-go with tons of knife-edged zip. Punk legends Ramones could turn you upside down with under 2-minute punches. That seems these British hound dogs’ mission too. And they succeed with all amps up and all cylinders on. Expect high-voltage electricity.

Who: Texas-based darkwave and electronic rock project of Andrew J. Martin, Jr., blending atmospheric synths and driving guitars into cinematic songwriting. He also draws from post-punk, synth-pop and alternative rock influences to create a sound that feels both nostalgic and thoroughly modern.

He released his debut album Become Each Other in 2020.

teamed up to perform Comfortably Numb Re-Imagned, a song that transforms
Pink Floyd‘s 1979’s track from ‘The Wall’ album into a 9-minute tribute to the Palestinian people, featuring new English and Arabic lyrics and a video with footage filmed in Gaza.

Cosmic Revival echo yesteryear’s insatiable appetite for hot hooks, lively licks
and firm vocals, producing plenty of beefy brouhaha. No Room For Mistakes is
an unmistakable haymaker of a track.

Marsden: “This song was my therapy during one of the most difficult moments of my life.
Being able to pick up the guitar and putting pen to paper was the most positive thing I could

Boston who has 2 albums (so far) on her résumé.

Press info: “For several years, Grogan had a song inside of her that was desperate to get out. But it was little more than a casual idea, narrated by her inner voice, dancing around her head, reminding her of our shared humanity and ability to persevere through difficult times. She had an edgy bass sound as the foundation, and an opening lyric that she just could not stop thinking about: “Tell your friends to make amends, ’cause everything is about to blow.”

Grogan: “The song came from feeling overwhelmed by the amount of chaos, division,
and fear happening around us. “I found myself pulling more inward this year, and in
those moments when I step back into the world, I see the external chaos from a
different perspective.

So much of what surrounds us seems built around fear;
fear that divides people, fuels greed, and creates suffering.”

TUTV: Grogan‘s puissant voice carries this alarming power ballad throughout
its riveting course, peaking on the imposing chorus. Think Alanis Morissette in her
early days. Enthralling and engrossing. The song’s melodramatic structure emphasises today’s grim times. People always found a way to survive, we need to succeed now
too, pronto. Tell your friends.

No expiration date for Liverpool‘s indestructible
post-punk-pop rockers ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN.

On 18 September they will launch their 13th LP,
their first in 12 years, named Apples For Isaac.
No idea who that guy is.

On the first single, frontman, big mouth and big voice Ian McCulloch explores
the ghosts and characters of the Belgian capital haunted by World War 2. As a
fanatic E&TB fan, I know they played Brussels countless times, but the last time
I was in Brussels (I’m Belgian), about two weeks ago.

But you never know these days.
Can you hear me, Ian? You can
run, but you can’t hide.

Whatever, this new single confirms that longevity isn’t always
a negative, getting boring, factor for artists. BRUSSELS IS HAUNTED
is, er, a haunting, sha la la home run.
