Who: A multidisciplinary project, based in Gothenburg, Sweden in which music and video
art coexist within a world that feels equally threatening and seductive. The project’s music is rooted in heavy, experimental rock but refuses to settle into expectation.

They have released two albums so far.

really recognize when I hear a bit of their music is the fun that they were

will hear that in all of their music. I think it’s wonderful.”

TUTV: This laid-back, buoyant, popy gem catches your ears’ attention on the spot.
Slinky here, Slinky there, Slinky everywhere, although he doesn’t seem to be the vocalist’s hero who brands him as disgusting.

Anyway, this light-hearted tune, spiced with sparkling guitar momentum and distorted
New Order synth/bass layers, is one to whistle, hum, or sing along to all day long.

Who: British post-punk trio. The story goes that the members met in a mosh pit. After playing all 3 in other bands, they got together to make a huge mark on the indie scene.

“Lost Cause is about toxic codependency and the vampiric nature of consuming someone emotionally. Survival through shared trauma and constantly needing more from someone
else to fill an internal void. It’s escapism and implosion all at once. The twin ouroboros.”

TUTV: This relentlessly pounding jackhammer will test your stereo’s flexibility.
There’s a kind of hostile danger in the air from start to finish. Alternating near-whispering and quarrelsome vocals augment the pugnacious psyche of this hot-tempered uppercut. Mental stroke. Look over your shoulder when you go outside and play Lost Cause on your earphones.

Last week QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE broke the news about their new, 8th full-length,
baptized Perfecth (not a typo), with a bloody trailer, showing chief queen Josh Homme and keyboardist/guitarist Dean Fertita playing five-finger fillet. The record will land on October 30th.

Following the superb lead single Easy Street we get the 2nd preview track,
called INSIGNIFICANT OTHER. A slow-moving torch song, impassioned with
full-hearted Homme vocals.

a cinematic sound infused with samples for context.  As a result, a new
sub-genre is born. One that can only be described as “dark dramatic electro”.

“It’s about those life-changing moments when an event occurs and uproots a person
and puts them into a state of the unknown. Bad luck, divorce, backstabbing, instability
along with a fear of commitment, this goes on for years, until a person finally gets the
strength to push the “reboot” button on their life. The reboot is “Killing The Curse”.

TUTV: Wham bloody wham bam. Echoes of the brutal industrial intimidation of Ministry and the hypnotic electronics of Front 242 come together here on this nasty electro-punk hammer blow, spiked with alarming vocals.
