Finally after almost six years, New York’s pop combo VAMPIRE WEEKEND will release
the follow-up to their successful third LP Modern Vampires Of The City . The new one FATHER OF THE BRIDE will come out the first week of May. So far the band dropped
four new pieces. And today they launched the first clip. It’s for ‘SUNFLOWER‘, the most adventurous track of the shared quartet. The video was directed by Jonah Hill and filmed last month Zabar’s on the Upper West Side in Manhattan. Watch it here…

PETER DOHERTY is back with a new band called THE PUTA MADRES with an LP planned for April. “A devastatingly intimate portrait of love, loss and being lost” says a press statement. The album was recorded in a French fishing village last summer. The new group released first single ‘WHO’S BEEN HAVING YOU OVER‘ a few weeks ago. A snappy garage cracker with sharp-edged guitar licks and Doherty‘s characteristic upfront. Have a look at the song’s new video launched today…
