San Antonio‘s veteran rockers BUTTHOLE SURFERS
kicked a lot of ass between 1981 and 2017 with 8 LPs.
In 1998, they bagged a new one, named After The Astronaut,
but their label at the time, Capitol Records, didn’t like it and refused
to release it.
Therefore, the Surfers changed labels and recorded/released another album,
titled Weird Revolution with songs from the dumped After The Astronaut,
but the critics hated it.
Now, as previously reported, after all these years, the band returned
to the studio to rejuvenate the album the way they want it, and it’s
slated to hit the streets on June 24. Pre-order info here.
