Released: 27 August 2021

Puppy teamed up with Violent Vickie, a Los Angeles-based
Dark-Synth-Riot artist, for the album’s jinxed jam Turn It Up Keith.
Vickie‘s gloomy vocals fit the doomed groove perfectly. Seems like
the duo invites us for an illegal graveyard rave.

No idea where the horrific video comes from but while we’re at
that graveyard rave the clip should play on a giant screen while
we all losing our senses.

Roll the tape, Keith and turn up the volume…

Band: A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS
Who: Infamous psych-noiseniks from Brooklyn, NY
led by founder/mastermind Oliver Ackermann
Active: Since 2003 / 5 LPs (so far)

A couple of weeks ago the band released new
5-track EP titled Hologram, out 16 July.

Order info: hero.

What does it sound like? Remember Ozzy Osbourne telling
his mates about movies that scare people and his idea of
making music that scares people. That’s exactly how A Place
To Bury Strangers
sounds, even scarier than Black Sabbath if
you ask me.

The Brooklyn trio already showed us clips for two EP
tracks. For I Might Have and End Of The Night.

Here’s another one, for In My Hive. Guess what?
The music as well as the video clip scares people.
Take that Black Sabbath!

Wanna see the two other video’s too? Here we go…

– END OF THE NIGHT –

Melancholia In Motion – THE BANKROBBER Revealed New Video Clip For ‘CARRY ME ON’ Single

Clips for ears and eyes…

19 June 2021

Italian pop act THE BANKROBBER released
their newest single CARRY ME ON last month.

Turn Up The Volume wrote: “New musing Carry Me On feels like a nightly
gloaming. Acoustic soul-searching and intimate tenderness. The darksome
sorrowfulness of the late great Buckley legends floats all over this gloomy
Giacomo Oberti ballad. The Bankrobber is back and still has the lockdown
blues.”

And here’s the video clip for the song. As always, made with images fitting
the song’s heart and soul, with stylishness and refinement, visualizing the
tristesse of the protagonist in this one beautifully. Melancholia in motion.
