Canadian Kamizake Engine METZ – Live In Paris 2017

Remarkable live moments

4 April 2020

Who: Metz (Ottawa, Canada)

Songs: Mr.Plague  from Strange Peace album (2017)
and Eraser from their compilation LP Automat (2019)

Where & When: La Trabendo, Paris, 2017

Note: One of my favorite live bands ever. Kamikaze tumult that makes your speakers tremble, your hair stand up and your ears buzzing. Every time I saw this red-hot-blooded trio their deafening havoc messed up my hungry mind the way I like it. Terrifically raw, in your face and massively LOUD! Noise rock at its kick-ass best. Check them out right here…

Fierce Canadian rockers METZ released their excellent rarities compilation Automat last month. The vinyl version included an exclusive 7” single featuring their interpretation of songs from three other, unexpected, artists: Sparklehorse‘s ‘Pig‘ from a very limited 2012 Record Store Day split single. ‘I’m A Bug a cover of The Urinals art-punk classic, originally released on YouTube in 2014 and a previously unreleased rendition of electro legend GARY NUMAN‘s song ‘M.E.’ from his 1979 ‘Pleasure Principle‘ album.⁣⁣
The band have made the three covers available
digitally everywhere. You can stream them all here.

For Numan’s ‘M.E.’ the band shared an animated clip. Listen/watch this way…
