CATCHING FIRE: The Story Of Anita Pallenberg (1942 – 2017) is a new documentary about German actress, model, and muse/wife of Keith Richards.

She entered The Rolling Stones world when they played Munich in 1965. Brian Jones,
who spoke German, connected with her and they started a tumultuous 2-year relationship. In the end Jones got paranoid following too many drugs and started beating Pallenberg.

Keef Richards kind of saved her from the violent Jones and they became a couple
for 14 years. They had 3 children together: son Marlon, daughter Dandelion and
son Tara Jo Jo who died after two weeks.

The docu doesn’t focus on Pallenberg‘s life with The Rolling Stones,
but on her own private, artistic and turbulent life. She passed away
in 2017, at the age of 75, due to complications from hepatitis C.

Happy 80 To Rolling Stone BRIAN JONES

28 February 2022

Lewis Brian Hopkin Jones was born on 28 February 1942,
in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. He would have
celebrated his 80th birthday today.

Jones was the founder (in 1962) of one of the biggest rock groups ever,
for which he also invented the name (I wonder if there’s anybody on this
planet who has never heard of The Rolling Stones).

He was a multi-instrumentalist, always hungry for new instruments and
also the creative stone who wanted the band to take a more adventurous
way.

Unfortunately, he lost himself in a destructive amount of drugs and alcohol.
He drowned, under the influence of damaging stuff, in his pool in 1969. He
was only 27.

The coroner’s report stated ‘death by misadventure‘ and noted that his liver and heart were heavily enlarged by drug and alcohol abuse.

He was born on 20 February 1942 in Cheltenham, UK. When he was 20 he placed an advertisement in a London magazine called Jazz News in May 1962, inviting musicians to audition for a new R & B group. The rest is Rolling Stones history. An extended bio of the legendary, highly influential multi-instrumentalist and controversial character right here.

Here’s a short photo montage and tribute to The First Stone while
applicable song ‘I’m Not Like Everybody Else‘ by The Kinks plays over it…
