Last December, beetle Paul McCartney released his acclaimed
McCartney III LP, a follow-up to his 1970 solo debut McCartney
and 1980’s McCartney II.

He now broke the news that McCartney III Imaged is on its way.
An album of covers and remixes by an impressive cast of artists such as
Damon Albarn, Blood Orange, Phoebe Bridgers, St. Vincent, Beck, Anderson,
Paak, Idris Elba, Khruangbin, Radiohead’s Ed O’Brien, Josh Homme & more.

Here’s a first taster. A remixed version of
The Kiss Of Venus with rapper Dominic Fike.

sent over 100 advance 10-inch vinyl records to independent record
stores, who can do what they want with the release.

Sure, the late great punk icon JOE STRUMMER (21 August 1952 – 22 December 2002) was the utterly charismatic frontman of the last gang in town THE CLASH, but not everybody knows or remembers his solo career, with several great LPs and countless collaborations with other artists.

To honor the influential maverick a new retrospective album, titled ASSEMBLY, will be
out on March 26 via Dark Horse Records, the label that the late Beatle George Harrison started in 1974 and now is run by his son Dhani.

The 16-track album includes a never-before-heard acoustic home recording of ‘Junco Partner’ and live versions of The Clash classics ‘I Fought The Law’ and ‘Rudie Can’t Fail’
with his band the Mescaleros.
