This year’s legendary British Glastonbury Festival edition is in full swing.
And as happens frequently, artists invite other artists to join them for a
couple of songs.

That’s what CHRISSIE HYNDE and THE PRETENDERS did yesterday. They invited
foo fighter Dave Grohl, who hit his drumsticks as if he was shooting a riot gun,
and former The Smiths‘ guitar hero Johnny Marr (who used to play live for a while
with The Pretenders, years ago).

All together, they went for a stormy version The Pretenders‘ rocker
TATTOOED LOVE BOYS (from their 1980 self-titled debut LP).

Fireworks.

Waking Up… EAZY SLEAZY

Works faster than caffeine

Happy 79 to rolling stone in command MICK JAGGER.
He was born Michael Philip Jagger on 26 July 1943
in Dartford, England.

Last year Jagger wrote and shared this heavy hittin’ post-lockdown haymaker titled
EAZY SLEAZY and invited foo fighter Dave Grohl to help him bang up the racket.

Perfect to start the birthday party out loud.

Yeah…

McCARTNEY And LENNON Reunited At Glastonbury Last Sunday

A couple of weeks ago, living beatle legend PAUL McCARTNEY celebrated
his 80th birthday and last Sunday he was the star headliner who got tens of
thousands of the sing-along crowd into ecstasy at the Glastonbury Festival.

He also surprised everybody with two giant guests, Dave Grohl and Bruce
Springsteen
, who each played a couple of songs (and one as a trio) with
the imperishable King Of Melody.

My pick of the concert. The performance of Beatles song
I’ve Got A Feeling with his third guest… JOHN LENNON.

Magical moments…

Afterward, McCartney and Dave Grohl went on the run…

NIRVANA Fronted By Charismatic Teen Spirit VIOLET GROHL On American TV

Nirvana comeback? Well if two of the original members – Dave Grohl
and Krist Novoselic – get together to play again, it’s a 2/3 reunion, right?

What happened? Dave and his utterly charismatic daughter Violet,
on vocals, shared their droning cover of Nausea, a 1980 cracker by L.A.
punk legends X, a week ago.

Then they got invited by the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show to play that steamy stunner.
So Dave asked old Nirvana pal Krist Novoselic to join him, along with an occasional
Foo Fighters collaborator, former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo and producer
Greg Kurstin on organ. But the sparkling star of the night was Violet Grohl.

Only 15 years old with a nevermind rock-out teen spirit.
