schizophrenic guitars that chainsaw their way throughout this jagged jackhammer.
You’ll hear nightmarish voices trying to survive in all of the harum-scarum turmoil.

Their debut single.

Bart Smet (vocalist/songwriter): “The 2nd of July” is a story about loss,
resilience, and the courage to move on.It’s a tribute to everyone who has
ever had to fight, or is still fighting today.

After the sudden loss of my mother, I found myself in a dark and difficult period.
This song is not only my way of processing that grief, but also a message of hope,
that even in the deepest pain, the strength to carry on remains somewhere.”

TUTV: Feverish passion, liberating catharsis and intense sadness led to this towering guitar-infused belter. The 2nd Of July is an overwhelming wall-of-sound outburst to help process an awful loss. Losing your mother causes indelible heartache, unfortunately, familiar to many among us.

We all now that music can be a healing force, which we experience here once again. Vocalist/songwriter Bart Smet also seems to look for pain-relieving solace through this soul-stirring, sonic cry-out. His sky-scraping vocality causes goosebumps. The overall fervency of this debut is sterling, just sterling.

Press info: Alain Quateau, once a member of The Paranoid Polaroids, decided one day to build his own studio. As a producer, he had the pleasure of working with many bands and talented artists, but one encounter left a lasting impression: the one with Renilde Gees.

Now, thirty years later, she unexpectedly contacted him again to record some tracks.
He knew immediately that he had found a kindred spirit in her. The name Lost in September refers to their shared love of melancholy and imagination.

Their music evokes autumnal images that float between silence and longing. Think
of the intimacy of Spain and the fragility of Sparklehorse: two-part, dreamy songs with striking sounds and profound lyrics.”

TUTV: I’m pretty sure Simon and Garfunkel would like this endearing, heartrending and sepia-coloured musing. This is the kind of soulful lullaby, where acoustic ambiance and vocal healing fit each other like a glove, that connects reality and phantasy, facts and wishes.

And most of all it proves once again the power
of silent music. You can hear yourself dream.

THE SOVEREIGNS – British Jangly Power Pop Indies Present Their Debut Single ‘DO YOU WANNA? (YEAH I WANNA)’

feeling strongly that music should never be a privilege, qnd believe in giving
back to grassroots venues, pedalling the importance of grassroots music and
its often-fragile infrastructure.

A song about feelings of self-doubt, gut instinct and
observations, all personified in a ‘relationship’ context.

“With Hull’s rich history of music culture, we feel this song of ours captures
an essence of that ‘Hull sound’; something that’s been paved by the likes of
The Beautiful South, The Paddingtons and The Housemartins.”

TUTV: And a one, and a one-two-three-four, here we go. From the kick-off
jangly guitars hijack this full of vim and vigour stroke, juiced with a bass and
guitar solo, a resolute drummer and itching vocals.

FIRE BLANKET – Attention For Fresh Manchester Noise Outfit And Their Hellraising Debut ‘DOCUMENT’

TUTV: Picture this. Aggressive guitars rage like chainsaws around a nasty mid-tempo groove, juiced-up by sinewy drum hits and when the clamorous chorus kicks in the
vocalist bellows as if he can’t get out of his straitjacket. Oh yeah, you’ll love this horrific slice of hellraising post-punk mayhem.

They look and they operate like your new favorite Halloween band. Amps up, decibels
up, heat up. I wonder if this track isn’t a hidden one on one of Fugazi‘s detonating exploits.
An in-your-face debut. Blimey.

GASMM – High-Powered Belgian Indie Team Score With Their Debut Single ‘BLACK HOLES IN THE SKY’

Gasmm delivers a sound that recalls the ’90s while feeling completely
of the moment. The production is deliberately raw, giving every element
its space, from the floating vocals to the explosive guitars.

Debut single: BLACK HOLES IN THE SKY

“During a spontaneous late-night jam between frontman Siemen and lead guitarist Michiel, the idea for a track that would capture the band’s DNA was born: raw yet dreamy, chaotic yet irresistible. TUTV: Gasmm hit the bullseye right away with their high-powered, rollercoaster debut. From the get-go hungry guitars, set the blazing tone. TUTV: Let’s start with two indisputable facts. One: I’m quite sure That at least
half of Brighton is in a band (I’ll add to the aforementioned groups: Lambrini Girls,
Ditz, The New Neves, Opus Kink, and way more). Two: MM hit bullseye with their
chirpy debut single.

Its lazy indie pop vibes stick on the spot. Feathers is a tremendously catchy
feel-good lullaby, juiced with sparkling guitar solos, a bouncy drum/bass tandem,
and happy-go-lucky duet vocals upfront.

You can listen to it in your bed, on your couch, at work while sleeping and in other related situations. Light-hearted tunes like this set your stream of disturbing thoughts on a hold for 3 and a half minutes. Put it on repeat and dream on.
