60 minutes of uninterruptedly guitar pop euphoria with English
rockers THE VACCINES yesterday at Rock Werchter – Belgium.
They came to celebrate the 15th birthday of their, no fillers all killers
debut LP What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? And a fantastic
celebration it was. One of my fav life bands.

Yesterday (Thursday 25th June), due to extreme heat at its first day,
the massive harddance festival DEFQON. 1 in The Netherlands is
cancelled for the remainder days (Friday-Sunday).

Last Thursday, I saw a real Beastie Boy in Belgium. The now 60-year-old MIKE D,
né Michael Louis Diamond, is in the middle of a European tour to promote his
upcoming debut LP Thank You. He made us all hip and hop and chant in chorus.
