Singular singer-songwriter legend JOHN CALE is one of those artists who
will blow his last breath while recording music in the studio. In January 2023
he released one of the finest records of that year with Mercy. It featured invitees
such as Animal Collective, Weyes Blood, Sylvan Esso, Laurel Halo, and Fat White Family.

The former VU luminary has another LP ready to share with the world.
It’s named POPtical Illusion and will land on June 14. The songs were
written around the time he worked on Mercy. It’s Cale alone, on this one.

First single, titled HOW WE SEE THE LIGHT is both
a meditative and playful tune that quickly dances
smoothly in your head.
