WHITE LIES Release New Album ‘NIGHT FLIGHT’ In November – Hear All 3 Singles (So Far) Here

15 October 2025

English power pop-rock trio WHITE LIES are heading towards
their 20th anniversary as a band. OMG! Time flies indeed.

They’re gearing up for their 7th LP, called NIGHT LIGHT. It’ll make their countless
fans jump in the air when it comes out on November 7th. Pre-order info here.

Press info: White Lies approached their seventh album with a fresh method: mastering the songs live before recording them. The trio decided to rehearse and refine the tracks together in a room before entering the studio – a reversal of the process of finding the true spirit of songs only after touring them.

Much of the album was recorded in frontman Harry McVeigh’s London flat, opting for simplicity over gear-heavy setups. They focused on songwriting and chemistry, relying
on their 17-year musical bond to shape the album’s energy.

Night Light spans progressive rock, disco, and synth-driven soundscapes, showing
a band both confident and creatively energized. The album closes with the pulsating
‘In The Middle’, showcasing their unity and matured artistry.”

British Foursome NIGHT FLIGHT Release Touching Ballad From Upcoming EP – Here’s ‘DAVID’…

New sonic impulses

5 December 2019

Band: NIGHT FLIGHT

Who: A London quartet whose immediate melodies, earnest lyrics and huge hooks
that echo icons of yesterday, have earned them comparisons to the likes of Fleet Foxes, Radiohead and The War On Drugs.
They released their self-titled debut last year. You
can stream it here.

Track: DAVID – first cut from their upcoming EP ‘White Noise‘, out 28 February 2020.
Singer-songwriter Sam Holmes says it’s about “A mourning of love through second-hand
news. The conversations shared with a forgotten friend in the strange aftermath of a relationship wherein perpetuity ends.”

Score: ‘David’ is a reflective meditation about a broken relationship. A heart-rending ballad about hurt feelings so many of us will recognize as these painful breakup emotions are universal, are part of life, are part of human interaction. The song’s melancholic and wistful tone strengthen the sense of loss. Music for lonely hearts and wounded souls.
