RORY GALLAGHER Statue Unveiled In BELFAST

Last weekend a new statue (there’s one in his hometown
of Ballyshannon too since 2010) of Irish guitar hero and
singer-songwriter RORY GALLAGHER was unveiled.

This June it’ll be 30 years since the genuine blues man passed away,
due to complications following a liver transplant. He was only 47.

In 1966 he formed a band called Taste. Four years later he went
solo. He released 11 albums and was an arousing live performer.

This day 28 years ago, on 14 June 1995 Irish blues rock hero
Rory Gallagher passed away, only 47, following complications
of a liver transplant.

Gallagher recorded/released 11 studio albums.
He sold more than 30 million records worldwide.

A big one to remember the Irish hero.
