Dear SIOUXSIE With 20.000 Kisses At CRUEL WORLD Festival In Pasadena, CA

23 May 2023

The one-day Cruel World Festival in Pasadena, CA was forced to cut the performances short on Saturday, in the middle of Iggy Pop‘s set, due to inclement weather and impending lightning. Headliner SIOUXSIE‘s show was immediately cancelled.

But the Goth queen and Pop returned, yesterday, to make more than 20,000 people euphoric. Below two fragments of her performance, Dear Prudence and Kiss Them For Me. Don’t expect HQ, but watch a very happy Siouxsie doing what she hadn’t done for 10 years.

Punk Icons SIOUXSIE And BILLY IDOL Meet Again For The First Time In 32 Years

Punk icons BILLY IDOL and SIOUXSIE met again for the first time
in 32 years. It happened yesterday, one day before the start of this
weekend’s Cruel World Fest in Pasadena, CA where both artists
will perform.

Both artists were part of the so-called Bromley Contigent in the mid-70s.
A group of young fans and fanatic followers of the Sex Pistols. They helped
popularise the fashion of the early UK punk movement.

White Wedding for Siouxsie.

Kiss Billy for me.

Last night Goth-rock queen SIOUXSIE SIOUX (aged 65) played her first
concert in 10 years. It happened in the legendary Ancienne Belgique venue
in Brussels.

The voice and face of Siouxsie And The Banshees (1976–1996)
was welcomed as a Goddess by the crowd.

These two fragments (not HQ, filmed with a phone) with SS performing
Happy House
and Spellbound shows clearly that her charisma is still intact.
The fans loved it!

SIOUXSIE SIOUX Back Solo At LATITUDE FESTIVAL In The UK Next Year

Post-punk-Goth icon SIOUXSIE SIOUX (born Susan Janet Ballion,
57 years ago in London) will play her first live concert in 10 years
next year at Norfolk‘s LATITUDE FESTIVAL 2023

Her band The Banshees split in 1996. Sioux made some records with her
then-husband and Banshee drummer Budgie as the Creatures, and released
her splendid debut solo LP Mantray in 2007. Since then she has never
been really away.

She had one of her songs on the soundtrack of the final Hannibal
series and performed at Yoko Ono’s Meltdown Festival in 2013.

And now Suzy is back, well next year that is.
Hopefully, more concerts will follow.

Kiss her for me, Norfolk.

Happy 65 SIOUXSIE SIOUX

27 May 2022

Susan Janet Ballion, best known of course as SIOUXSIE SIOUX
the voice and face of her band The Banshees was born on
27 May 1957 in London.

Happy 65 to the Goth queen of punk. One of the most
charismatic and drop-dead gorgeous rock stars ever.

With The Banshees she recorded/released 11 studio albums.
With her husband Budgie, she made two LPs under the moniker
of The Creatures. And in 2007 she released her only criminally
underrated, solo longplayer Mantaray.

Three magic Siouxsie moments…
