Only last week she announced the 4th LP in 4 years from her riff-racing band The Darts, and shared the first taster, Midnight Creep. Now comes the news of her 2nd Black Viiolet full-length following last year’s debut After You (part of TUTV’s best albums of 2025).

Oh, let’s not forget the endless touring with her gang and now with her alter-ego too.

That said, BV’s lead single Dark Blue echoes the overall flirtatious ambiance of After You. Jazzy and trippy-hoppy vibes in slow mo. Her slightly hoarse, whispering vocals fit the nightclub’s contra-bass/trumpet/drum melodiousness like a glove. Music for the midnight hours, away from the brutal reality we have to endure.

Hen’s Teeth, which will arrive on February 27th.

Hen’s Teeth and his previous album, Light Verse, are siblings of a sort.
They were recorded during the same sessions after a year-long dry spell.

suggests the impossible. Hen’s teeth do not exist. And that’s what this record felt like
a gift that shouldn’t be there but it is. An impossible thing but it’s real.”

“When I’ve been on a writing kick, and the band can meet me where I’m at, they push me into something I hadn’t imagined. I’m at a point in my life where spontaneity is a lot more important to me. I don’t have as much to prove as I used to. I’m a lot freer and I love making music more than ever. There are no right or wrong answers. You just pray for your luck and try your best.”

From the rural landscapes of western Sweden, the duo has built an architecture of earthy, alternative slow rock and melancholic, atmospheric folk with a Nordic touch. A sound they call månrock.

They released their debut album She’s A Starry Night in 2023.

Irish rock heroes THE CRANBERRIES who were fronted by the wonderful,
unfortunate Dolores O’Riordan (1971-2018) released their prizewinning
debut album Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We, completely
written by O’Riordan in 1993.

It went #1 in the UK and #4 in the US.

It featured the mesmeric musing SUNDAY.
The song was released as a promo single in
the US.

Press info: Alain Quateau, once a member of The Paranoid Polaroids, decided one day to build his own studio. As a producer, he had the pleasure of working with many bands and talented artists, but one encounter left a lasting impression: the one with Renilde Gees.

Now, thirty years later, she unexpectedly contacted him again to record some tracks.
He knew immediately that he had found a kindred spirit in her. The name Lost in September refers to their shared love of melancholy and imagination.

A couple of weeks ago the duo launched their magnific debut single
Dreams. An endearing, heartrending and sepia-coloured musing.

And the follow-up just hit our headphones. WHAT IF I TOLD YOU is an equally soothing reverie, a reflective song “about slowing down. About realizing that happiness often hides in memories.
