Happy 80 To The Human Riff KEITH RICHARDS

18 December 2023

If you had said in the 60s/70s that the then heroine hooked Rolling Stone guitarist
KEITH RICHARDS would reach the age of 80 and would still make music at that age
they would have put you away in a psychiatric institution. Yes, the human riff celebrates
his 80th birthday today. He was born in Dartford, Kent, England on 18 December 1943. Happy B! It’s only rock ‘n’ roll but Richards still likes it, yes he does.

THE ROLLING STONES – Classic Album ‘BEGGARS BANQUET’ Came Out 45 Years Ago Today

Back in time

8 December 2023

THE ROLLING STONES released their 7th British
and 9th American studio LP, titled BEGGARS BANQUET
45 years ago today, on 6 December 2023.

TIME Magazine UK said: “England’s most subversive roisterers since Fagin’s
gang in ‘Oliver Twist’. In keeping with a widespread mood in the pop world, Beggars
Banquet turns back to the raw vitality of Negro R&B and the authentic simplicity of
country music.”

TUTV: If someone had said back then, 55 years ago, that The Rolling Stones
would still be around today – new album Hackney Diamonds just out – he
would have been locked up in a psychiatric hospital.

Happy 87 To Rolling Rock Star BILL WYMAN

24 October 2023

BILL WYMAN was born William George Perks in Lewisham, South London
on 24 October 1936. Happy 87 to the Stones original bassist. He left the
band in 1993.

While being in group he already recorded/released solo LPs and collaborated with
other artists too. Post-Stones he’s best known for his work with his Rhythm Kings.

He had his biggest hit with the playful, catchy,
feel-good tune (SI SI) JE SUIS UN ROCK STAR.
