Final BLACK SABBATH Show On 5 July 2025 Can Be Streamed Live

7 June 2025

All metalheads circled the date of 5 July 2025 earlier this year. That day paranoid drill hammers BLACK SABBATH will play their final concert, with an impressive supporting cast. It sold out in no time.

Sharon Osbourne: “We had such an overwhelming demand from fans from around
the globe, who couldn’t get tickets to the show, and they took to social media, pleading
with us to broadcast a livestream of the show. Given that this is such a historic event,
we just couldn’t let them down.”

The organizers now have made a deal with Mercury Studios to stream the event live for € 26,99. If you’re not around on July 5, the stream will also be available in its entirety for 48 hours afterwards. You can buy your ticket HERE

Tom Morello (guitarist Rage Against The Machine)
says: “This will be the greatest heavy metal show ever.”

RAGTM Guitar Hero TOM MORELLO And His Son And Rapper GRANDSON Strike Hard With ‘ONE LAST DANCE’

Daily noise that works faster than a stream of caffeine

26 October 2024

Former Rage Against The Machine guitar hero TOM MORELLO, his teenage
son Roman, also on guitar and roasting Canadian rapper grandson got together for
a fulminant fireball titled ONE LAST DANCE. It’s the theme song of a new superhero movie, titled Venom: The Last Dance.

You don’t see a father and his son strike hard
on the same song in the same video, every day.

Tom and grandson previously united on “Hold The Line“, which appeared on Tom‘s 2021 album “The Atlas Underground Fire“.

MC5 – The Title Track From Upcoming Album ‘HEAVY LIFTING’ Features TOM MORELLO

Daily noise that works faster than a stream of caffeine

16 September 2024

With the passing of Wayne Kramer (75) last February and drummer
Dennis Thompson
(75) last month all 5 original MC5 members are
gone. Together they released 3 longplayers, including their live classic
Kick Out The Jams (1969).

Back in 2022 Kramer broke the news that he was working on a new MC5 LP,
with co-songwriter Brad Brooks (they composed 12 of the 13 tracks together),
featuring famous guests like Tom Morello, Slash, Vernon Reid and many more.
It sounds more like a tribute to the iconic Detroit band.

Last month we got the confirmation of the new full length.
It’s named HEAVY LIFTING and comes out on October 18.

With the title track we all can go bonkers
to the 3rd preview from the upcoming LP.

Rage Against The Machine‘s guitar hero Tom Morello plays on the title track and says about the LP: “I think ‘Heavy Lifting’ is a record which certainly fits very well into the excellence of the MC5 catalog. It does stand as a testament to a lifetime of rock and roll greatness.”

Wake up people,
and do some
heavy lifting.

DEF LEPPARD – Glam Rock Celebs Back With Retro Arena Anthem ‘JUST LIKE 73’ Feat. TOM MORELLO

Daily noise that works faster than a stream of caffeine

14 June 2024

DEF LEPPARD are not the only British hard rock band around
since the mid-70s. Also Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Whitesnake and
Uriah Heep (all with a hiatus here and there and line-up changes),
to call just a few, are still producing heaps of decibels.

DL recorded/released 4 LPs this century, with Diamond Star Halos
from 2022 as the most recent one. They also still tour regularly.

The glam giants will make tons of noise in the US this summer
in huge arenas with several big-name veterans to support them.

To get in the mood they just dropped a one-off single.

JUST LIKE 1973 is a retro arena anthem that will make thousands
and thousands of American fans go out of their mad minds.

The new belter features RATM’s guitar hero Tom Morello
who seems to be on every record lately where some frantic
riffage is needed.

A limited edition 7-inch blue vinyl single is available
through the band’s website. Hurry up. Info HERE.

Wake up people, time
for some air guitar.

TURN UP THE VOLUME’s JUKEBOX 2023 – 10 New Tracks Added Every Week

In order to not miss a beat Turn Up The Volume scans the musical
horizon daily (doing it for years now, actually) to stay in touch with
all new things sonically great and shares the results on a weekly
basis.

Check the 10 new rad cuts just
added to this rad 2023 playlist.

TRACK-BY-TRACK

1. ‘Everybody’s Safe Until…’ by PARIS TEXAS (US)

This sharp-rap-cutting Los Angeles duo released their highly acclaimed riot-gun album
Mid Air last month. This 3rd single is nothing less than fucktastic, with a sickly sticky flow, a killer guitar riff and the tandem’s adrenalized vocality.

Let’s rattle and roll.

2. ‘What’s The Point In Life’ by COACH PARTY (England)

These young British punk-pop gunslingers will follow their blistering 5-track debut EP Parasite with their debut LP Killjoy on 8 September. It will surely crank up the (justified)
hype around this mean rock machine. Can’t wait to see them live (in Belgium).

Trust me, Coach Party is a point in life.

3. ‘METALI!!’ by BABY METAL (Japan)

The kawaii metal girls teamed up with Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello
for this new head-banging blast. Their mix of catchy metal, pop-punk melodies and
pithy/screamy vocals is a is infallible formula.

Hell bloody metali yeah!

4. ‘S l o w l y, L o n g’ by VIRGINS (Belfast, Ireland)

Their 2022 debut EP Transmit A Little Heaven made it loud and
clear that these young shoegazers like to turn up amps and speed.

S l o w l y, l o n g confirms that sonic taste with layers of scintillating guitars going
everywhere fast and a swirling drummer who never backs down. And singer Rebecca
Dow
‘s hallucinatory vocals add both a ghostly and sensuous feel.

Top!

5. ‘Ozone Scraper’ by DJ SHADOW (US)

The now 51-year-old, celebrated drum/bass/hip-hop DJ has his
new, 7th LP, named Action Adventure out on 27 October.

Ozone Scraper is the first single, pretty poppy-mainstream,
for DJ Shadow‘s standards.

________________________________________________________________________________________________

6. ‘Hippocandy’ by DRY WHITE BONES (UK)

Hippocandy is a railroad journey, insistent repeating rhythm and wailing blues harp,
growly voice and Rock n Roll feel guitar all adds up to a crazy mixed genre that hints
of Folk, Bluegrass, Rock, Gypsy, Industrial, hip hop and post punk.

The crazed harmonica play, the raw punk-blues pace, the bewildering
groaning/howling vocals. The ghost of Captain Beefheart is omnipresent.

7. ‘Not The Man’ by VICKY VON VICKY (Ontario, CA)

Artwork by Michael Wynn

VvV is the musical project of Michael Wynn. Last summer inspired him to write
this new piece, in the voice of someone who is looking for purpose, and some
sort of legacy in their life.

Not The Man is a rollicking earworm your eager ears just can’t resist.
It’s a glorious-amplified pop tune, that in a normal world, should be
a hit.

Touchdown.

8. ‘Jim Bristol’ by JOE RIAN (Midwest/Chicago)

Rian is a seasoned troubadour/songwriter who likes to stir the sounds of Roots, Country and Folk into a nice pot of musical soup. Along with his band he released a new album, titled Midwest Boy.

Highlight Jim Bristol made me instantly think of Johnny Cash going to Reno, and killing
a man just to watch him die. Well, that’s what the late icon told us when he had some Folsom prison blues.

9. ‘Die Down’ by TV PEOPLE (Dublin, Ireland)

Unveiling an audacious blend of post-punk and alternative rock in a dark
and gritty sonic landscape, TV People are set to make waves in the
indie music scene with this deeply profound new single.

Die Down reflects on cyclical patterns of love, conflict, and resolution in a relationship.
It is written from the perspective of a person who feels trapped in a negative cycle in their love life, where unresolved issues repeatedly cause pain to both them and their partner despite the immense love and support that flows between them.

Expect an electrical, layered guitar-driven track that changes speed along
its moody course while heartfelt vocals going through the relationship crisis.

10. ‘The Sinner’ by THE CORAL (Liverpool, UK)

The seasoned psych-folk-pop-rock ramblers The Coral have two longplayers out
on 8 September, named Sea Of Mirrors and Holy Joe’s Island Medicine Show.

Ahead of it, comes this 4th shared single.
A mellow lullaby for the twilight hours.
