British indie pop-rock heroes fronted by voice/face/songwriter Tim Burgess,
who started their prosperous career back in 1988. They released 13 LPs, so far.

An imposing, voltaic, blues rock jam.
Mental guitars, sultry 60s keys, dark lyrics
and feverish vocals. Stunning stroke.

Band: THE SPECIALS

Probably the greatest ska collective ever.
They formed in Coventry, England in 1977,
and were fronted by the late great
Terry Hall (1959-2022).

Album: THE SPECIALS

Their self-titled debut LP, released
in 1979. It peaked at #4 in the UK.

Track: TOO HOT

A song written, by Jamaican star Prince Buster. Catchy, hip-swaying
tune. I guess because Hall was only doing backing vocals here that
Too Hot wasn’t hot enough to be a single.
