very long career, which started in 1968. They released 19 LPs.
On March 13th they RUSH will release a deluxe edition of

SEX PISTOLS Fronted By FRANK CARTER Celebrate 50 Years Of Punk With A Handful Of Gigs In The UK

This year marks the 50th birthday of punk. The anti-rock superstar culture that changed the musical landscape radically around the globe. In those arousing days, you could be wondering in the morning what to make out of your life, and then suddenly be in a band playing in an obscure basement at night.
Expect a bunch of anniversary fireworks here, there, and everywhere.
And of course, anarchy trailblazers, the SEX PISTOLS who reformed in 2024 with
Frank Carter as vocalist for one benefit event, until the masses wanted to see
them too, resulting in a stream of gigs, will be in the picture.
At the end of the year, they’ll play a handful of gigs on their
island. They’re also expected to play several summer festivals.

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN and his E STREET BAND can’t stop rockin’ around on podiums.
They just announced a new US tour, billed as The Land Of Hope And Dreams American Tour. The tour poster says NO KINGS in all-caps, a big sneer at orange gorilla Trump, who thinks he’s the king of the world. It’s also no coincidence that the first show
is in Minneapolis on March 31.
Springsteen: “We are living through dark, disturbing and dangerous times, but do not despair — the cavalry is coming! Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will be taking the stage this spring from Minneapolis to California to Texas to Washington, D.C. for the Land of Hope And Dreams American Tour.
We will be rocking your town in celebration and in defense of America — American democracy, American freedom, our American Constitution and our sacred American dream — all of which are under attack by our wannabe king and his rogue government in Washington, D.C.

The eccentric fairy-tale rockers THE FLAMING LIPS, led by their psychedelic
priest Wayne Coyne are around since 1983 (oh my, I had no clue it was that long).
They have fascinated their fans with 17 albums (so far).
As a longtime fan myself, I dare to say that their concerts are even better than their records, as I experienced once more last year in Antwerp, Belgium. A visual and sonic spectacle.
They just announced new tour dates for 2026.

It’s 6 years now since TRICKY (born named Adrian Nicholas Matthews Thaws
in Bristol (UK) 58 years ago), former short-time member of Massive Attack,
released his 14th LP, the heartbreaking (about the suicide of his 24-year-old
daughter) Fall To Pieces.
But he didn’t stop writing/recording new music. Since then he released an album
under the alias of Theis Thaws and recorded 2 full-lengths with his singer Marta.
