British Sardonic Rockers TV COMA Knock At The Doors Of Doom With Debut LP ‘WUSS’

11 December 2021

Band: TV COMA (St. Albans, UK)
Who: Formed in a cesspit of post-university malaise,
TV COMA re-appropriates this word via the medium of
punk-flecked millennial pop songs, drawing from the
personal experiences of co-frontmen and siblings Max
and Leo Troy.

New album: WUSS
Named after an essay by Bret Easton Ellis called
Generation Wuss which criticizes the millennial
generation.

TV COMA: Wuss is about the people who run the world now,
the millennial adults, who are still trying to figure out how to be
adults, a generation left blinking at the lights of a rapidly changing
world that they helped create, but no longer understand.”

Turn Up the Volume: Nine sardonic songs to sing out loud along
with your fiery friends in front of 10 Downing Street in London, the door
to Bojo the Clown‘s private perverted paradise. Actually, you can scream
and shout these Weezer and Dropkick Murphys like party belters in front
of any power-horny politician’s door, around the globe.

TV COMA definitely have a ball while ridiculising all autocratic leaders.
So should you. And don’t forget to activate your middle finger when
knocking at the doors of doom. To hell with all those narcissistic sharks.

Scream Along Before It’s Too Late – Here’s TV COMA And Their New Mental Uppercut ‘CONGRATULATIONS’

Daily fuel to load your sonic batteries…

Formed in a cesspit of post-university malaise, TV COMA is a power-pop band based in Brighton. They already drew Turn Up The Volume‘s aural attention a couple of months ago with Doomsday anthem The World Is Closing Down  and their brand new single CONGRATULATIONS is a similar sarcastic and scream along belter.

TV Coma vocalist Leo Troy says about the new cut: “It’s about the unexplored paradigms
of modern relationships. As the first humans to publically document relationships, millenials were pioneers in dealing with the psychological impact of social media on modern day love. Congratulations explores the aftermath of this: how hard it is to get over someone when there’s a 24/7 feed of what they’re doing just a click away, when you see that person with another person, followed by a unique kind of acceptance.”

Here’s your chance to ventilate all your lockdown paranoia, to forget all your virtual
break-ups with your fake Facebook-lovers, to test your vocal cords’ gusto, to laugh in the face of the ones who unfriended you and to kick Big Brother’s ass. CONGRATULATIONS
is a clamorous uppercut, a powerhouse outcry and a Dropkick-Murphys-like chant that will set your mind free for at least four minutes. Capeesh? Open your windows and doors and yourself scream hoarse before it’s too late.

Right here, right now…

22 March 2020

In these scary coronavirus days countless artists – professionals and amateurs – try to bring some comfort. To be honest: some succeed, some fail. But here we have a winner with British rock trio TV COMA who just dropped new track ‘THE WORLD IS CLOSING DOWN‘. A catchy psych pop humdinger about the coming apocalypse. Witty, satirical
and pungent.

If you asked me to make a playlist of Doomsday songs this would be definitely on it.
Why? If this is the end of the world as we know it we might as well leave this messed
up planet with a smile on our faces while dancing to a sticky gloomy tune like this.

Shake your booty right here…
