Band: WILD BABY
Who: Helsinki-based rock band formed in 2024. Their music blends influences
from Foo Fighters, The Beatles, and Mumford & Sons, yet their sound remains
distinctively their own – organic, energetic, and emotionally charged.

Track: UPSIDE DOWN
Only their third single.

TUTV: Upside Down starts smoothly with silken guitar play, but
when every band member joins in, the decibels go up, the ardour
goes up and Wild Baby work their way to a razzle-dazzle chorus,
before heading to an incendiary finale.

Peppered power pop panache with all cylinders on, a stream
of ripping riffs and vigorous vocals. Finland rocks. Big time.

Press photo by Nick Fancher

Band: Ho99o9 (pronounced Horror)
Who: Trashing rap-punk duo – theOGM and Eaddy – from Newark, New Jersey.
They released, so far, two albums United States of Horror (2019), Skin (2022)
and last year’s mixtape Territory: Turf Talk, Vol II .

And the duo are ready for lonplayer number three.
It’s named ‘Tomorrow We Escape’ and will hit the streets
on September 9.

theOGM about the album: “When we started this process, we knew we wanted to make
more relatable songs. It was a healthy challenge to focus on emotion. In the past, a lot of our material was politically charged. That element is present to a degree, but we wanted to take a more personal route. This mindset drove how we wrote songs. Everybody has a struggle. The goal is to find motivation for preservation.”

The first brain-breaking single UPSIDE DOWN will
boom and gloom in your head all day long.

“Heaven isn’t up, spiral going down,
we were made to sin, only you can
control how”

French Duo RON MOOR Tackle Organized Religion On New High-Powered Album ‘UPSIDE DOWN’

19 June 2021

Band: RON MOOR

Who: Duo formed and led by French multi-instrumentalist-songwritter Ron Moor who began to play the guitar at age 15. He discovered music through American ’90s bands such as ‘Smashing Pumpkins’ or ‘Garbage’, which led him to alternative-pop-rock directions.

Album: UPSIDE DOWN – 3rd LP
Released: 2 April 2021

Info: “”May 2019. Ultra-Catholic students perpetrate homophobic acts in the heart of
La Roche-sur- Yon, France. It was on this ground of intolerance that Upside Down, Ron
Moor’s third album, was born. Wishing to maintain total artistic independence, it only
took Ron Moor a few months to compose, write, record and mix, all at home, this new
opus of twelve tracks decidedly more engaged and more powerful than the previous
ones. Far from falling into primary anti-clericalism, ‘Upside Down’ nonetheless paints
a gloomy portrait of a sinking society, beset by religious and political extremism. In this
concept album, Ron Moor draws on his Judeo-Christian roots to deliver a message of
respect and tolerance.”

Turn Up The Volume says: Imagine Metallica going grunge with Billy Corgan
on vocals and Queens Of The Stone Age‘s ringleader Josh Homme in the production
chair. Sounds gloriously loud, right? Actually very loud, right? You betcha! Add Ron
Moor
‘s sharp-as-a-Swiss knife attacks on organized religion – there can’t be enough
protest against that eternal evil undermining the free spirit of our society since Adam
and Eve
– and you know this is a knockout longplayer with a heavily beating heart and
a caring soul. No more rest for the religious wicked and all related hypocrites. Turn
them upside down and kick their intolerant butts. Hell yeah!
